Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel is the first Belgian Quadrupel ever made. It is a rich beer, intensely dark and full-bodied.
Flavour
Brewed with a refined mix of special malts, the beer has a complex character, which combines a clean dryness with hints of coriander, dark fruit, anis and roasted chestnuts. The aftertaste is slightly treacly.
Colour
This quadrupel has an intens dark brown colour.
Scent
The aroma is spicy and elegant with slightly roasted hints.
Foodpairing
The perfect partner to combine with pronounced flavours and especially red meat and game dishes. It also marries perfectly with chocolate desserts.
